It’s launch day

FINALLY, launch day is here. I selected March 11 from the calendar six months ago when I realised I needed the structure of a deadline to work towards. It’s my dad’s birthday, so I figured I wouldn’t forget.

HUGE thank you to my family and friends for your support. You got me here.

I thought today would be pretty low-key - for those who had pre-ordered, Salt Sisters would slide discretely into their Kindles and possibly go unnoticed for a few days. I didn’t realise that Amazon sends everyone an email to remind them that it is now in there. Nor did I realise that the paperback would go live so quickly - I was expecting it to appear over the weekend.

I’ll be honest - it’s nerve-wracking at this point, waiting to see what people think of it. It’s a level of pressure that I hadn’t anticipated.

But for now I’m focusing on the achievement. My goal was to write a book and I did it.

That’s worth celebrating, right?
